What’s Included?

  • One 60-Minute Onboarding Session through in-person or ZOOM to complete logistics to begin the program.​
  • Assessment at the beginning and at the end of your 6-week program through in-person or ZOOM to measure your progress.
  • Weekly Customized Yoga sessions (ranging from 20 to 60-Minutes per session) through in-person or Zoom. After each weekly session, I will email you a video recording of that week’s session for you to refer to and practice on your own during that week.
  • Weekly private Health Coaching Q&A support & Evaluations to make adjustments to your Customized Yoga session in between sessions via phone call, text and/or email.
  • 3 Private 30-minute Health Coaching sessions through in-person or ZOOM. These can be scheduled as separate Health Coaching sessions during your 6 week program or added onto 3 of your 6 week Customized Yoga sessions.
  • One 60-Minute Celebratory and Completion session through in-person or ZOOM after completing your 6-week program. We will do the final assessment and discuss wins and next steps for you and your goals.

If you are over 40 - Have you noticed how your body seems to wake up with mysterious aches and pains these days? Or maybe you just feel “softer” or less toned than you used to be?

I have definitely felt this way when I hit my late 40’s. Each morning, I’d feel stiff and uncomfortable for no apparent reason. The thought of getting down on the floor - let alone getting back up - filled me with anxiety as I watched my strength gradually decline.

But at 47, I discovered something transformative: the power of fitness yoga & mindful movement.
Through developing a consistent fitness yoga practice, I not only eliminated those unexplained aches and pains but found a renewed sense of boundless energy, strength and confidence.

Now at 59, I move with more ease than I did a decade ago. This personal journey led me to become a Certified Health Coach and Yoga Instructor, specifically focused on helping professionals over 50 live better, feel good, and age well with a consistent healthy lifestyle program and positive mindset.

I’ve worked with a diverse group of clients - from Parkinson’s patients to active Seniors at the YMCA.

Over the last 12 years, I’ve created a unique approach that meets you exactly where you are. No Flexibility required.

Whether you’re dealing with restless sleep, joint pain, or anxiety about aging, I create customized programs that evolve with you. My clients discover that age-related changes don’t have to mean acceptance of limitation - they can be an invitation to move and live differently.

I’m a total beginner, will this be too advanced for me?
No way! This program is specifically designed for people who may have never done yoga before, or don’t feel like an expert. We start with a thorough assessment to understand your current mobility, strength, and any health concerns.

Then I create a completely customized program that meets you exactly where you are. Many of my clients start without being able to touch their toes or get up easily from the floor - and that's perfectly okay! Every pose is modified to work for your body, and we build confidence gradually through small wins.


I’ve done yoga before, what makes this program different from my local yoga class?
While group classes are wonderful, they can't provide the personalized attention that transforms your practice. The Confident Yogi program is like having a personal yoga architect design a practice specifically for your body and goals. Through our one-on-one sessions, we can:
  • Focus intensively on your specific needs (whether that's back pain, balance, or better sleep)
  • Modify poses in real-time to work perfectly for your body
  • Progress at your ideal pace without pressure to keep up with others
  • Address your unique health conditions with targeted sequences

How long will the weekly sessions take?

What is yoga?
Yoga is a broad definition and there are so many types of yoga these days. Teaching yoga for the last 11 years, I would define yoga as an activity that pairs poses or postures with breath in a stillness or movement practice for the mind, body, and spirit.

In the Confident Yogi, you will experience an approach that combines the best elements of various yoga styles, customized for adults over 40 or 50. This isn't the pretzel-twisting yoga you might see on Instagram! Instead, we focus on:
  • Gentle movements that build strength and balance
  • Breathing techniques that reduce stress and improve sleep
  • Simple poses that enhance daily mobility
  • Modifications that work for your unique body No flexibility required - we start where you are and progress at your pace.


Can I also do other forms of working out during this program?
Absolutely! In fact, The Confident Yogi program is designed to enhance your other physical activities. Many clients find that our work together helps them:
  • Improve their performance in pickleball or golf
  • Prevent injuries in their other workouts
  • Recover better from more intense activities
  • Gain more body awareness for all types of movement We'll coordinate your yoga practice to complement, not compete with, your other activities.
